A PAMPERED pooch is putting her best paw forward after waiting for more than two years to find her forever home.

Six-year-old American Bulldog Snow arrived at Dogs Trust in Kenilworth through no fault of her own, and has had little interest from potential families ever since.

The big-hearted pup suffers from skin allergies which means she needs daily foot baths to remove grass and pollen – which she is more than happy to put her paws up and receive.

Skin allergies cause Snow to lick and chew her feet and itch her body and ears, but the pup takes medication to keep flare ups at bay.

Dogs Trust staff say Snow loves to receive her daily foot spa and that the charity will help with vet bills associated with her skin problems.

Rehoming centre manager Emma Healey said: “Snow is a firm favourite here, but she really deserves to be in a forever home of her own. We think potential new owners are put off when they find out about her daily routine, and don’t want the commitment of caring for a dog who has some medical needs that need monitoring and maintaining.

“But Snow is no trouble at all when it comes to giving her paw and is happy to take a load off so both she, and her feet, can soak up the attention.

“At 30kgs, she’s a big girl and her size can often put people off, too. But she has a huge heart to go with it and she walks beautifully on the lead so is a pleasure to walk.

“Snow is a truly wonderful girl and loves her cuddles once she knows you. She is looking for an adult-only home with owners who will be committed to keeping on top of her medication and foot soaks so she is comfortable and feeling her best.”

Call the centre on 0300 303 0292 to find out more about Snow.
