THE IMPACTS of menopause and how to tackle the challenges it brings will be the focus of a workshop.
Menopause Knowledge CIC is set to welcome women and men of all ages to the Fordbridge Centre on Nineacres Drive on April 29 for a Menopause and Wellbeing session.
From 10am until 1pm there will be plenty on offer from menopause facts to tools and strategies to live this stage in life positively.
There will also be the chance to ask questions and talk to others.
Aline Boblin, chief executive of Menopause Knowledge, said: “With event like these, we don’t just bring information that empowers women and other genders, their partners and family.
“We help people understand early how menopause can impact them, and how they can take early positive steps in their lives to prevent menopause impacts.
“We dispel myths about menopause. We provide evidence-based knowledge.
“We also talk about nutrition, movement, the power of connections, stress management. We share how each person can prepare for a positive appointment with their GP about menopause. “
Menopause Knowledge is hosting the event with Re-Imagine Me CIC, which supports those with dual diagnosis of mental health and addiction issues.
Other organisations present on the day will include Gateways Family Services, Creative Support, ADHD Alliance, Carers Trust, and ThinkActive.
This event is funded by Solihull Council through Birmingham and Solihull Integrated Care System Fairer Futures Fund managed by the Heart of England Community Foundation.
