KNOWLE hope to extend their winning run to seven matches when they host struggling Lane Head this weekend.
The Robins romped to a 6-0 win at bottom side Inkberrow in their last outing as the visitors scored six second-half goals.
Knowle lead the Midland Football League Division Two table by two points ahead of Birmingham United with a game in-hand.
Lane Head sit 13th in the table and are just three points above Inkberrow who prop up the table.
They suffered a 4-1 home defeat against Birmingham last weekend and have won just two of their nine league matches this season.
Knowle’s joint manager, Clive Seeley, said: “Lane Head are not the sort of side to roll over. They may be down the league, but they are tough to beat. We need to be on our mettle.”
The clubhouse at Hampton Road is open all evening for hot and cold snacks as well as alcoholic and soft drinks.
Admission is £5 for adults and £3 for concessions.
Knowle host Lane Head on Saturday, October 5 with kick-off at 3pm at the Draintech Community Ground.
