THE STREETS of Knowle were home to trainer power at the weekend as the annual Fun Run came to town.
A grand total of nearly 1,900 runners and mini runners took part in the event – some with a serious mission to win and others donning fancy dress to bolster their fundraising efforts.
The offocial charities set to benefit from this year’s run – which is expected to raise over £40,000 – were Arthritis Research UK, Knowle FC, Solihull Young Carers, as well as a variety of other local causes.
