AMATEUR boxers will don their gloves to raise funds for good causes as Solihull Rotary hosts a charity boxing night on Friday, March 6.
Held at the National Motorcycle Museum on the Coventry Road, the evening will raise funds for Acorns Children’s Hospice, UK Sepsis Trust and other local and Rotary charities.
Rotarian Nav Sharma said: “Everyone is welcome and we always have strong support from local businesses. It’s a great night with a great atmosphere, and we are set to enjoy some high quality amateur boxing.”
So far, these events have raised over £300,000 for charities, with last year’s Rotary fight night raising £12,000 for the British Heart Foundation.
Now in its 35th year, the black tie event has tickets priced at £45 each – phone Rotarian Jeremy Rose on 0121 705 2679 for bookings.
