MOTORISTS are being warned about roadworks on the Blossomfield Road and Widney Lane junction which are due to begin on tomorrow (January 16).
There will be lane closures but the road will remain open to ensure road users’ inconvenience is kept to a minimum.
The works will involve the creation of a third lane on Blossomfield Road to improve traffic flow as well as improvements to pedestrian crossing facilities and resurfacing.
Road works on the will begin on Monday 16 January and last up to three weeks.
Solihull Council said it will aim to complete the work as soon as possible however the construction period may need to be extended in the case of unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather.
