A RETIRED police dog has found his fur-ever home and new best friend.
Last month West Midlands Police asked for help to rehome three dogs, including retired Police Dog Sam.
The Cocker Spaniel is living his retirement days out with best friend Elliott who he meets at the school gates at the end of the day and is a hit with Elliott’s friends.
West Midlands Police said: “We’re so happy that Sam has found his forever home.
“He is well and truly settling into retirement life and is even treated to warm sausages every morning. The four-legged retired crime fighter has earned them.
“We are also happy to share that Ran goes to her forever home next week and Chloe has lots of potential new owners booked in to see her in the coming weeks.”
