Castle Bromwich library closed for renovation

CASTLE Bromwich library has closed its doors while undergoes a makeover.

When it reopens on at 10am on January 18, the Hurst Lane library will have new windows and doors.

During this time there will be an extended loan period, so that people can keep books out for a slightly longer loan period than usual.

Alternatively, books can be returned to any of the other 13 library sites in the borough including Kingshurst, Smith’s Wood and Chelmsley Wood, Hurst Lane Clinic (next door to the library). a mobile library stop including Chestnut Court, Chester Road on




Thursday, January 4 from 1.15pm until 2pm.

Items can also be renewed by calling 0121 704 8400 or online at: www.solihull.gov.uk/libraries where there is also a full list of alternative libraries and the timetable for the mobile library service.
