THERE’S still time to nominate your sporting heroes for the annual Solihull Sports Awards.
Developed in partnership with Sport Solihull and Solihull Council, the awards are a fantastic way of recognising talented athletes, inspiring coaches and dedicated volunteers.
Awards up for grabs on the night include Sportsman and Woman of the Year – split into able-bodied and disabled – Team of the Year and Young Volunteer of the Year.
And, for the first time this year, the awards will also see a presentation for the ‘Community Club of the Year’ which will recognise a club that goes the extra mile to support the community.
The evening will be a great event that celebrates the achievements of the people of Solihull and recognises the behind-the-scenes work that often goes unnoticed.
This year’s awards will focus on the achievements gained from June 2015 until May 2016.
All nominees must live, or represent a club, in the borough of Solihull.
Nominations need to be submitted by 5pm on Friday (June 3).
