SOLIHULL HAS been ticked off as one of the safest places across the country to park cars.
According to British Parking Association’s Safer Parking Scheme, over 35 car parks across the borough passed the safe car park standards and received the Park Mark award.
The car parks have been recognised as having low crime rates and certain measures in place to ensure people and vehicles are safe.
Leader of Solihull Council, Coun Bob Sleigh said: “It is really pleasing to see that Solihull has been recognised for its safe parking.
“As a Council we work hard to make sure our car parks are safe and secure for people working in and visiting the borough, and we are very proud to have so many awarded with Park Mark status.”
