A WHOPPING £10,000 was raised at the latest annual Charity Boxing Dinner organised by the Rotary Club of St Alphege, Solihull.
The event, held at the National Motorcycle Museum in Bickenhill saw over 300 guests and dignitaries enjoy an evening of entertainment and boxing courtesy of Solihull Community Amateur Boxing Association – all in the name of a good cause.
The money raised by the 30th edition of this calendar highlight will be split between the Rotary’s chosen charities, which this year include Solihull Young Carers, Parkinsons UK, Merstone Special School and the International End Polio Now Campaign.
In its 30-year run, the Charity Boxing Dinner has raised over £300,000 for a variety of charitable causes.
