SOULFUL sounds filled Mell Square over the bank holiday weekend as the fourth Solihull Jazz Festival came to town.
King Pleasure and the Biscuit Boys took to the stage alongside MOBO-winning saxphonist YolanDa Brown and Boston Brass to serenade audiences while they relaxed.
Foam ‘Jazz Hands’ were handed out to spectators at the parade, which made its way round the town centre to open the festival in style.
Observer photographer Jon Mullis was on hand to capture a slice of the action.
