SOLIHULL MOORS have completed the one-month loan signing of exciting West Bromwich Albion attacker Jovan Malcolm.
The 19-year-old has progressed through the Baggies ranks after joining the club during his foundation phase.
A powerful, lively and pacy attacker, Malcolm was handed the first loan spell of his career with League One side Accrington Stanley in August 2021, after impressing in Albion’s PL2 side.
He went on to make a total of 13 appearances for the Reds and scored one goal, before being recalled by Albion last month.
On securing a loan move to the Moors, Malcolm said: “It’s a great opportunity for me, I feel like I needed exposure to men’s football again.
“It’s a really nice set-up here – the boys are good, and the gaffer was enthusiastic, so I just can’t wait to get started.
“Everyone wants to be in a promotion battle so it’s a good fit for me.
“I’m very attack-minded. I like to get at people one v one, shoot and excite the fans.
“I just want to do my best and make my way into the team, score and create goals.”
Malcolm will wear the number 18 shirt and is eligible for tomorrow’s Buildbase FA Trophy tie at Stourbridge, while his one-month loan expires on March 9.
