A TALENTED swimmer studying at Solihull Sixth Form College has recently returned from competing in a prestigious swimming meet in Europe.
Nathaniel Shonubi-Severin represented the City of Birmingham Swimming Club at the Luxembourg Euro Meet which took place from January 27 to 29.
The young swimmer competed in breaststroke, butterfly and freestyle and joined the City of Birmingham Swimming team a year ago when he moved to Birmingham from the South East of England.
Nathaniel said: “I achieved the long course qualifying times needed to take part in this meet; the opportunity to race in Europe alongside outstanding international competitors was a huge learning experience for me and the team. I’m working towards the upcoming Nationals.”
He is currently studying A level economics, german and mathematics and intends to progress onto university to study economics and continue swimming competitively.
