LIAM Delves will no longer race for the Rapid CDH Racing team after another difficult weekend in the Bennetts British Superbike Championship.
The Solihull rider has endured a tough 2023 season and was only able to finish one of three races in his last outing at Snetterton in round five of the Championship due to technical problems.
And after careful consideration, Delves and Rapid CDH Racing came to a mutual decision to part ways in what was the former’s second season with the team.
Delves said: “After a lot of thought and discussions with team Rapid CDH Racing, we have reached a mutually agreeable decision.
“In the interest of both Liam Delves Racing and the team, we will no longer continue our partnership for the remainder of the 2023 Bennett’s British Superbike Championship.
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank Dean [Hipwell] and everyone at Rapid CDH Racing for the opportunity to race in the best domestic racing series in the world and wish Rapid CDH Racing good luck in the future.
“I am really grateful to all my personal sponsors for their continued support and belief in me. Also, to everyone who has supported me throughout my racing career.
“However, this is not the end of my racing journey. It’s just me hitting the pause button. At this current moment, I’m not sure what my future plans are, but I will keep everyone posted very soon.”
