SUPERBIKES - Delves hopes to carry momentum into Cadwell Park over bank holiday weekend

LIAM Delves travels east to Cadwell Park in the Lincolnshire Wolds for the seventh round of the Bennetts British Superbike championship which takes place over the bank holiday weekend.

The 21-year-old rookie recorded his highest finish of the season last time at Thruxton as he placed 19th to break into the top-20 positions for the first time.

Riding the Rapid Training Rapid CDH Racing Kawasaki Fuelled by Cheshire Mouldings and Woodturnings Ltd the Solihull rider is relishing the thought of flying over the notorious mountain section of the course for the first time on a powerful superbike.

The Cadwell Park round is now back to its original slot over the August Bank Holiday and attracts a huge following for the Party in the Park which produces some fast and exciting racing.




And the action begins on Saturday with free practice and continues into Sunday with qualifying plus the Sprint race with the two main races taking place on Monday.

Timetable

Saturday – Free practice (11am and 3pm)


Sunday – Free practice (10.20am and 1.10pm), Qualifying (1.30pm), Sprint race 14 laps (4.30pm)

Monday – Warm-up (9.55am), race two 18 laps (1.30pm), race three 18 laps (4.30pm)
