RUGBY UNION - Bees awarded yet another home walkover

BIRMINGHAM and Solihull Bees were awarded a fourth successive walkover win after opponents Stoke Old Boys failed to field a team.

The Bees’ Portway pitch was deemed playable by the referee following a pitch inspection only for Stoke to concede the fixture due to a shortage of players.

And Bees have already been confirmed as Counties 3 Midlands West (South) champions having won 18 of their 19 matches so far this season.

Bees finish the season with a trip to Harbury on Saturday, March 18 with kick-off at 3pm at Waterloo Fields.
