PACKINGTON Estate will open its gates to families across the West Midlands to host this year’s Festival of Sport 2025.

The Festival of Sport takes place from August 1 to August 4 at Packington Estate in Warwickshire.

Children between the ages of five and 17-years-old can take part in over 20 sporting activities.

And a number of sports stars will be in attendance to provide coaching tips and advice.

This includes rugby stars Ben Youngs, Alex Goode and Austin Healey, Olympic hockey champion Kate and Helen Richardson-Walsh, England netballers Tamsin Greenway and Karen Greig and Paralympians Naomi Riches and Jodie Grinham.

And former Lioness Alexa Hunn-Phillips will also be on site coaching football over the weekend.

Packington Estate comprises 300 acres of parkland located between Birmingham and Coventry.

Packington Estate’s Georgie Guernsey said: “It is such an honour to be hosting Festival of Sport on our grounds this year.

“There’s a tangible sense of pride sweeping the nation right now, so it’s the perfect time to inspire the next generation of athletes with a celebration of all things sport, and its power to bring us together.”

Festival co-founder, Healey added: “We are so excited for our first year at Packington Estate and we can’t wait to welcome hundreds of kids to our sports zones for what will be a fun-filled family weekend.”
