SOLIHULL School are celebrating a landmark achievement after three of its netball teams reached the England Netball Regional Schools Finals.
The school’s under-14s, under-16s and under-19s all qualified for the finals after competing against the best schools in the West Midlands.
And Solihull’s under-14s and under-19s have progressed to the national finals which take place in Sheffield next month.
This feat makes Solihull the only school in the West Midlands region to have two teams competing at the national finals.
Solihull School’s head of netball, Emma McGinley said: “I am incredibly proud of every player involved.
“The dedication shown by all three teams has been outstanding, and their success is built on strong teamwork, perseverance and a genuine commitment to improving every week.”
The school’s director of sport, Steve Thompson added: “This is a hugely proud moment for Solihull School.
“It is the first time in our history that three age groups have reached a regional final in the same season.
“It reflects the strength of our netball programme and the commitment shown by both players and coaches.”
