SOLIHULL teenager Harrison Morrow made his Formula Ford Series debut at Donington Park for TM Racing.
The 16-year-old took to the grid in a field of 18 experienced drivers and recorded the 15th fastest time in qualifying.
However, the teenager made the worst possible start to race one as he dropped to the back of the grid.
He recovered well to finish 13th overall and score his first championship points.
Morrow made another slow start in race two as he again fell to last place.
He managed to recover again and worked his way through the field up to 11th place.
However, he suffered a puncture to his front right tyre which forced him to retire the car on the last lap of the race and suffer a DNF.
Morrow will experience a change of car and team this coming weekend.
The Solihull racer will take to the track in a 50-year-old Formula Ford in the super classic race series again at Donington Park.
