HARRISON Morrow made his racing debut in a Mazda MX5, competing in two All-Comers events at Snetterton.
The Solihull teenager raced for Midlands-based team Paddock Motorsport.
Racing at the circuit for the first time, Morrow finished fourth in his class and 10th overall in qualifying.
In race one, Morrow made a solid start and settled into a good pace, improving lap by lap.
He tried to keep pace with a faster Porsche Boxster and finished ninth overall and fourth in his class.
However, with Morrow in eighth place after three laps in race two, the gearbox linkage failed and he lost drive.
Morrow pulled over to the side of the track and the team retired the car.
The Solihull driver is now gearing up to making his debut in the Formula Ford Festival at the end of this month.
