MOSELEY returned to Birmingham League Premier Division winning ways with a remarkable recovery to down Ombersley.
Isaac Leckie recorded a maiden league half century and accompanied by Usman Awan, who enjoyed a fine all round game, led the Moseley recovery following a familiar middle order collapse.
Aadam Din had earlier shown signs of a welcome return to form with a belligerent 47 from 36 balls as Moseley reached 196-9 from 55 overs.
Yadvinder Singh made the early breakthrough when the hosts replied before Alex Thomson with 2-20 and Awan 5-33 exploited a slow turning wicket to bowl the Griffs to victory, despite late resistance from Ombersley captain Arti Fiaz and Neil Slade.
Moseley entertain West Bromwich Dartmouth on Saturday.
