Moors announce 'The Forest' as new stand sponsor

Solihull Editorial 24th Feb, 2022   0

SOLIHULL MOORS have announced The Forest as a new stand sponsor until the end of the 2025/26 season.

The stand, formerly known as the Draintech End, will now have the name of The Forest sitting atop it.

Not only that but the hotel and eatery in Dorridge will also see their name adorn the away bar as they look to really make their mark on the Moors.

And founder of the Butchers Social, chef Mike Bullard, is no stranger to the Moors having served up top quality food to the club’s hospitality guests for the past two years.

But the Moors connection doesn’t stop there. Mike recently teamed up with Moors Chairman Darryl Eales and Birmingham entrepreneur Russell Martin to buy the hotel in May 2021.

Having recently moved into their new home at The Forest, The Butchers Social have taken the Dorridge area by storm with their famous chicken wings delighting the locals.

Not only that, their Sunday lunches have also won rave reviews as have their delicious breakfasts which range from the traditional to a mouth-watering Ox cheek benedict.

Birmingham based interior design firm, Tibbatts Abel, oversaw the dramatic transformation of The Forest’s main restaurant and private dining room which was opened in December.

The new restaurant that can be used as a function room caters for up to 120 people and houses a striking modular bar area which is the central feature of a high end interior.

And the private dining room is a more intimate affair, accommodating for 16, it is the perfect setting for a business meeting or small gathering.

It’s an all-day offering from The Butchers Social at the Forest and if you fancy an overnight stay, they also have you covered with 12 individually designed en-suite bedrooms.

Exciting times ahead for The Forest and with plenty of plans on the horizon, the newest culinary addition to the local landscape shows no signs of slowing down.

And Moors are thrilled to promote a business that will undoubtedly become a cornerstone of the local community for many years to come.
