FOOTBALL: MIDFIELDER Jack Edwards has moved back to former club Leamington.
The 27-year-old signed from the Brakes during the close season having made more than 100 appearances in black and gold.
With competition for places in Moors’ midfield, the club could not guarantee Edwards first team football.
It has since been mutually agreed he will return to Leamington immediately.
Liam McDonald was sad to see Edwards go and will be forced to look at players available for loan.
He said: “While we await the return of Jermaine Hylton, Luke Benbow and Simeon Maye, I feel we haven’t been too far off the mark in recent games.
“However, we have lacked a little quality and I am hoping to overcome that quickly.”
