SOLIHULL Vixens stars Jodie Alderson-Smith, Sarah Hutchinson and Grace Garbett have all been called up by Great Britain.
The trio have been named as part of a 22-woman squad that will head to Katowice, Poland next month for the Four Nations tournament.
Britain will play Denmark, Italy and hosts Poland in a four-team round-robin tournament held at Jantor Ice Rink.
Head Coach, Mike Clancy, said: “This will be great preparation for the upcoming World Championship in South Korea.
“After last year’s promotion, there’s a feel-good factor around the team and it’s important we continue in the same manner.
“We are looking forward to testing ourselves at the Division 1 level and these are exactly the matches we need to see where we are as a team.
“The coaching staff are very excited by the squad for Poland and we feel we have a great mix of youth and experience.
“Obviously, a large part of the gold medal-winning roster are part of the team, but we are also blooding some young talent who are a massive part of our future.”
Fellow Vixens players Michelle Franklin (netminder) and Megan Burton (defender) have been named as reserves.
The Four Nations take place from Tuesday, February 7 to Thursday, February 9.
