SOLIHULL Vixens bounced back from their first defeat of the season with a polished performance to beat Kingston Diamonds 5-1 in their penultimate league fixture.
Vixens led through two goals from Saffron Allen and a further strike from Jodie Alderson-Smith in the first period before Grace Garbett and Anna Badoui added some gloss to the scoreline.
And Badoui’s strike at Hull Arena was the Vixens 100th goal of the season.
Solihull struck twice in the opening eight minutes through captain Allen before Alderson-Smith added a third goal on 13 minutes as the Vixens made a blistering start to the match.
Kingston reduced the deficit in the second period only for Vixens to restore their three-goal lead courtesy of Garbett’s 24th-minute effort.
And Vixens wrapped up the win on 50 minutes when Badoui found the net to bring up a century of goals for the season for the Solihull club.
Vixens host bottom of the league Bristol Huskies in their final league game of the season on Saturday, May 20 with the face-off at 6.25pm at Planet Ice Solihull.
Solihull then head into the play-offs which take place on May 27/28 in Sheffield.
