SOLIHULL Vixens claimed a fourth women’s national ice hockey Elite League title in five seasons.
The Solihull club ended the season with 17 wins, one draw and two defeats with goalscoring stats of 115-44.
The Vixens won 15 of their first 16 games and claimed three victories and a tie against runners-up and closest rivals Queen Bees.
And the club have already enjoyed a busy off-season.
Some eight players have left the club while nine new players have joined for next season.
Vixens head coach, Reg Wilcox said: “With an urgent need to recruit basically half a team of new players, we’ve recruited a mix of youth and experienced players that performed admirably throughout the long season.
“To win the Elite league was something I didn’t expect last August and is a credit to the players and coaching staff who made it happen.”
