RILEY Hubbick, from Solihull, helped England’s under-13 ice hockey team win gold at the prestigious Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament.

Hubbick captained England to success at the world’s largest international ice hockey tournament – the first England team to triumph at the competition in more than 20 years.

England won three friendly games and all six of their competitive matches to come home with gold.

Hubbick said: “This is a dream come true, the experience was better than I ever could have imagined.

“I’m really proud to be captain and have this amazing team around me. We have all made memories of a lifetime.”
