HAMPTON & Solihull claimed a winning draw against Warwickshire Premier Division basement boys Bablake Old Boys in a dramatic final over.
Mark James top-scored with 75 as H&S posted 180-8 from their allocated 50 overs.
Satish Charan (2-22) and Thomas Cowley (2-45) were the pick of the Bablake bowlers.
In reply Bablake were indebted to Joshua Manning whose innings of 84 alongside Cowley’s unbeaten 33 got Bablake to within two runs of claiming victory.
Unfortunately they finished on 179-8 to settle for a losing draw.
H&S travel to Olton & West Warwickshire on Saturday while Bablake take on Bedworth.
