AFC SOLIHULL continued their impressive pre-season form on Wednesday evening with victory over Midland League Division Two outfit Hampton.
Solihull opened the scoring early on through Ollie Gee heading home after some good play by Jon Hamer.
Shortly after the favour was returned with Hamer adding the second.
There was still time for two more before the half-time break with new signing Mark Morton and Hamer netting.
Eight changes by Solihull at the break didn’t stop their fluidity and if anything, made them even more dominant in the second half.
Another new signing in Amine Lamarti made it 5-0 with a a great left-footed finish before Hamer completed his hat-trick.
There was still time for Hamer to add a fourth for himself with a wonderful chip over the keeper, making it eight goals in five pre-season outings as Solihull ran out comfortable 7-0 winners.
Solihull take on Redditch Borough on Saturday.
