SOLIHULL Sporting Ladies completed a league and cup double with an emphatic 6-0 win against Leamington Ladies Lions in the League Cup final.
Solihull’s Isabelle Haigh stole the show with four goals in a magnificent individual performance with Sigourney Gowlett and Lauren Smith also on target at Lichfield City’s Brownsfield Road ground.
The win completed a double for the Solihull club after Sporting romped to the West Midlands Regional Women’s Football League Division One South title as they won 16 of their 18 matches.
And Solihull finished the season with 12 consecutive victories in all competitions having beaten Leamington 8-2 and 11-1 in their two league meetings earlier in the campaign.
