FOOTBALL - Solihull Moors sign Tyrese Shade on loan from Swindon Town

SOLIHULL Moors have completed the loan signing of winger Tyrese Shade from League Two side Swindon Town until the end of the season.

Shade briefly played for Moors as a teenager during the 2016/17 season before moving to Leicester City after making two first team appearances for the club.

The 23-year-old scored two goals in 39 appearances on loan at Walsall in 2021/22 and has netted six goals in 63 games for his current employers Swindon.

Moors Director of Football, Stephen Ward, said: “Tyrese is a player I know well, and I have followed his progress since the start of the season.

“We are really pleased to be able to attract a player of his standard to the football club. Tyrese will give a different dynamic to our attacking play with his ability to play anywhere across the front line.

“We hope to give him the platform to showcase his immense talent and we all welcome him to the Moors.”

Shade has now returned to the ARMCO Arena after scoring 12 goals in 47 appearances in Leicester’s academy and can play anywhere across the front three primarily on the right-hand side.

The winger has won two senior caps for Saint Kitts and Nevis.
