SOLIHULL Moors have announced the short-term loan signing of Sam Hornby from Colchester United, subject to league and FA approval.
The Birmingham-born goalkeeper arrives at Solihull following Tommy Simkin’s departure last week.
Hornby is an experienced goalkeeper, who has played over 100 times across the Football League and non-league system.
At 28-years-old, Hornby counts Burton Albion, Port Vale and Bradford City as his previous clubs in the Football League before making a permanent move to Colchester United in the summer of 2022.
The experienced goalkeeper made 13 appearances last term for The U’s and joins the Moors for a taste of National League action.
Hornby could make his debut for the club in Moors clash against Maidenhead United in the National League this weekend.
