SOLIHULL Moors have signed left-back Cameron Green from National League rivals Boston United.
Green turned down the offer of a new deal at Boston to make the switch to Moors.
The 26-year-old scored two goals and provided five assists to help Boston stay in the National League last season.
He joins fellow new signing Brad Nicholson in making the move to Moors from Boston.
Green said: “I obviously played in the same side as Brad Nicholson last season at Boston and with Tyler French at Wrexham.
“We spoke over the summer and they both said what a good club this is and what the plans are for the next season and beyond.
“I’m really looking forward to it. I’ve played over 100 games over the last couple of seasons and have been enjoying my football.
“Now the aim is to come here, play with energy and enthusiasm and hopefully play my part in the club’s success.”
Moors head coach, Matt Taylor added: “Cam has a fantastic engine and can play as a left wing-back or full back.
“He has plenty of experience, knows this level, and as with all the players we have signed, he is an outstanding character who will demand the most out of everyone around him.
“He has that bit of quality on the ball and we think the fans are going to enjoy watching him.”
Green began his career in Reading’s academy before later playing for the likes of Wrexham, Bromley, Braintree Town and Welling United.
