JACK Stevens scored a brace as Solihull Moors secured their first win of pre-season with a 3-0 victory at Halesowen Town.
Stevens struck twice after the break to put Moors in command before youngster Finley Holmes completed the scoring at The Grove.
Southern League Premier Central side Halesowen made a fast start as Adi Yussuf forced young goalkeeper Aaron Flahavan into an early clearance inside the first minute.
However, Flahavan set up Moors first chance of the match with a long kick up the pitch which eventually fell to Kian Ryley who forced the Halesowen goalkeeper into a save.
Moors had another chance soon after as Jon Benton fired narrowly wide from the edge of the penalty area.
After the break, Andy Whing made a number of changes on the hour mark and Halesowen almost took the lead only for Flahavan to dart off his line and deny the Yeltz a shot on goal.
Moors eventually broke the deadlock from the penalty spot as Stevens found the net after Holmes drew a foul in the area.
And Stevens struck again less than a minute later before Holmes fired home via the aid of the crossbar to earn Moors their first win of pre-season.
Solihull are next in action against Bromsgrove Sporting on Saturday, July 27 with kick-off at 3pm at the Victoria Ground.
