SOLIHULL Moors head coach Andy Whing has won the National League’s manager of the month award for August.
Whing’s side have won four and drawn three of their opening seven matches and remain the only team yet to lose a game in the National League this season.
The 38-year-old has made an impressive start to life at Moors after replacing Neal Ardley in the ARMCO Arena hotseat in June.
Moors rescued a point with 10-men against Eastleigh on the opening weekend of the season before winning away at Ebbsfleet United and Boreham Wood respectively.
A comfortable home win against 10-man Dorking Wanderers followed before a home draw with Halifax Town and an impressive victory away at Oldham Athletic as Moors finished the month top of the table.
