SOLIHULL Moors have confirmed the appointment of Dave Boddy as the club’s new CEO.

Boddy previously worked as CEO of Coventry City from 2017 to 2024, helping the Sky Blues rise from League Two to the brink of the Premier League.

He has also previously held the chairman’s role at Worcester City and the CEO position at Newport County.

Boddy also revealed he played a part in the club’s appointment of Chris Millington as Solihull’s new manager earlier this month.

Boddy said: “I am really excited about the opportunity that the Moors are offering me and excited to be back in the game.

“Darryl [Eales] and the rest of the team have built a great infrastructure for the club and the training ground is the envy of most League One and Two club’s.

“I will be bringing a wealth of experience, ideas and enthusiasm to try and further help develop the club both on and off the pitch and further cement the club at the heart of its community.

“Myself and Darryl have been speaking about the possibilities for over six months and Darryl involved me in the process of appointing Chris Millington at the back end of September which gave me a great insight to how the club operates and what great potential there is.”

Moors chairman, Darryl Eales added: “I am truly delighted to welcome Dave to Moors.

“We are very fortunate to have someone of his pedigree and wealth of knowledge and experience of the game.

“He is well respected and liked for his ability, relationship based approach and integrity and I am excited to work together.”
