SOLIHULL Moors and Logik Logistics have raised more than £15,000 through a seven-a-side charity football tournament.
The event took place on the pitch at Damson Park with the £15,000 total surpassing last year’s total.
Moors and Logik Logistics raised funds for three causes – For Georgi, Solihull Moors Foundation and the Wolves Foundation.
Georgi has two very rare conditions called a Mosaic Gain of a 1q43 and a bilateral perisylvian polymicrgyria (BPP).
She is the only known person in the world to have the mosaic gain condition – a duplication of chromosome one.
The brain condition means her brain is folded on one side into tiny folds meaning it will never develop.
She requires 24/7 assistance and care from dressing, feeding, bathing and changing to her learning and day-to-day care.
More than £5,000 has been raised online.
