KNOWLE’S 11-game unbeaten run in the league came to an end after the Robins were beaten 3-1 at Cadbury Athletic.
The game kicked off 15 minutes after the stated start time after the three officials arrived late.
However, Knowle made the perfect start when the game eventually kicked off as Cadbury’s Rob Shaw put through his own net after just two minutes.
That was as good as it got for Knowle who struggled thereafter as Jeson Dinanga scored twice and Adam Bourn also found the net to put Cadbury in command at the break.
And the home side frustrated Knowle in the second period with the visitors also left annoyed by a series of decisions made by the officials.
Knowle have dropped to fourth in the Midland Football League Division Two table, three points behind leaders Sutton United.
