KNOWLE FC host Wake Green in the Les James Challenge Cup this weekend.
The Robins play one level above Wake Green and saw their weekend game postponed due to the freezing conditions.
And whilst Knowle sit third in the Midland Football League Division Two table, opponents Wake Green lead the Division Three standings albeit having played more games than the teams below them.
The Solihull club have won all three of their matches since the turn of the year since without conceding a goal whilst Wake Green have won their last two games.
Knowle joint manager, Matthew Seeley said: “We owe Wake Green one. They beat us in pre-season, so we need to set the record straight.
“They are a good side and we must not be complacent. However, I think we shall field a full-strength side.”
The clubhouse at Hampton Road will be open all afternoon for hot and cold drinks together with light snacks.
Entrance is £4 for adults and £2 for concessions.
Knowle’s clash with Wake Green takes place on Saturday, January 28 with kick-off at 2pm at the Draintech Community Ground.
