KNOWLE romped to a 6-0 home win against Lane Head to secure their biggest league victory of the season.
The Robins were in imperious form in front of goal as substitute Jacob Walton scored twice with Christian McArdle, Charlie Morris, Kartel O’Neill Martin and George Seeley all on target at the Draintech Community Ground.
And the result means Knowle sit third in the Midland Football League Division Two table, nine points behind leaders Sutton United with a game in hand.
Knowle controlled the game from start to finish and made a blistering start to take the lead on two minutes when vice-captain McArdle turned home a corner from the right.
The visitors failed to register a shot all match as Chris Adamson’s heroic display in the Lane Head goal prevented Knowle from adding to their tally which included a series of spectacular saves in the closing stages.
And further goals arrived from Morris, O’Neill Martin and Seeley before Walton grabbed two from the bench to add some gloss to the scoreline.
Knowle are next in action away at Fairfield Villa on Saturday, January 14 with kick-off at 2pm at the Recreation Ground.
