KNOWLE FC advanced in the Birmingham FA Saturday Vase after goals from Kartel O’Neill-Martin and Nathan Corry secured a 2-0 win against DSC United in midweek.
O’Neill-Martin opened the scoring in the first half before Corry settled the tie in the second period at the Trevor Brown Memorial Ground.
And the Robins will travel to Midland Football League Division Three side AFC Somers in the quarter-finals with the tie to be played on Saturday, February 11.
Knowle took the lead from their first meaningful attack as O’Neill-Martin scored from 16-yards out from Charlie Morris’s superb pass.
And the Robins secured their place in the last eight when Corry doubled Knowle’s lead following good work in midfield by O’Neill-Martin.
Knowle are next in action at home to Kenilworth Sporting on Saturday, January 21 with kick-off at 2pm at the Draintech Community Ground.
