ANDREW Dallas scored twice as Solihull Moors ended their five-game losing run with a 3-0 victory at Dorking Wanderers.

The striker netted in either half before the returning Joe Sbarra sealed the points whilst Joe Cook was sent off for Dorking just before the break at Meadowbank Stadium.

And the result means Moors sit 12th in the National League table just three points outside the play-off places.

Moors boss Neal Ardley handed a debut to new signing Mark Beck and he almost made an immediate impact when he sent Dallas’s low cross just wide in the opening minutes.

And the visitors went even closer moments later as Josh Kelly prodded the ball millimetres wide from Ryan Barnett’s cross from the right.

However, Moors eventually made their pressure pay on 17 minutes as Dallas nodded in from a yard out after Callum Howe headed goalwards towards the far post from a floated corner.

And Moors almost scored from a similar situation as the half wore on with Justin Donawa just unable to find the net from another Howe header.

Solihull had a chance to double their lead on 43 minutes when Cook fouled Dallas in the box with the striker about to pull the trigger which saw the former shown a straight red card and Moors awarded a penalty.

However, Dallas saw his spot kick saved by Dorking goalkeeper Dan Lincoln to send Moors into the break with a one-goal advantage.

The striker was not to be denied a second time from the spot on 64 minutes, after he was fouled in the area again, and this time rolled the ball into the bottom left corner to send Lincoln the wrong way.

And Sbarra came off the bench to seal the points on 73 minutes with a brilliant finish at Lincoln’s near post from Dallas’s pass.

Moors are next in action at home to Notts County TONIGHT (Tuesday, January 31) with kick-off at 7.45pm at the ARMCO Arena.
