TAHVON Campbell scored a last-minute equaliser as Solihull Moors came from two goals drawn to draw 3-3 with Eastleigh in a thriller.

Campbell’s late strike earned Moors a point after Paul McCallum netted a hat-trick for Eastleigh as Jamey Osborne and Jack Stevens twice reduced the deficit at Silverlake Stadium.

The result means Solihull sit fourth in the National League table.

Eastleigh broke the deadlock on 26 minutes when former Moors striker McCallum turned home Ben Reeves’ free-kick despite the best efforts of Solihull goalkeeper Nick Hayes.

And McCallum doubled Eastleigh’s lead on 38 minutes when he headed Enzio Boldewijn’s cross from the right into the top-right corner of the goal from 10-yards out.

However, Moors halved the deficit in style on 59 minutes as Osborne curled a superb effort over Eastleigh goalkeeper Joe McDonnell and into the top-right corner from 25-yards out.

The home side restored their two-goal cushion on 67 minutes as McCallum completed his hat-trick with another header from a couple of yards out at the back post.

Andy Whing’s side kept themselves in the game seven minutes later when Stevens produced a clinical finish into the right corner of the goal from Joe Sbarra’s pass.

And Moors drew level in the final minute of regulation time as James Clarke slipped in Campbell who fired a powerful first time shot past McDonnell at his near post from 15-yards out.

The visitors thought they had won the game at the death when Campbell headed Jon Benton’s cross into the bottom right corner only for the goal to be ruled out for offside despite the striker appearing to be onside when the cross was played in.

Solihull are next in action away at Gateshead on Tuesday, March 5 with kick-off at 7.45pm at Gateshead International Stadium.
