FOOTBALL - Knowle set to take on local rivals Hampton

KNOWLE FC are hoping to return to winning ways when they entertain local rivals Hampton at the Draintech Community Ground.

The Solihull club were beaten 1-0 at home by Fairfield Villa in their last outing before Christmas which marked just their second defeat of the season.

Manager Clive Seeley hopes his injury worries are behind him with Dylon Bennett and Brandon Hague expected to return.

And the Robins should also have a couple of new singings available as they look to keep pace with league leaders Cadbury Athletic.

Knowle currently sit second in the Midland Football League Division Two table and remain undefeated away from home.

The Robins are the division’s second highest scores and boast the second meanest defence of any side in the league.

Their opponents Hampton are down in 12th spot just above the drop zone having taken 15 points from their 16 matches thus far.

Entrance is £3 for Adults and Concessions £2.

Knowle’s match with Hampton takes place on Monday, January 3 with kick-off at 2pm at the Draintech Community Ground.
