KNOWLE return to league action against Coventry Alvis this weekend as the Robins look to maintain their title charge.

The Robins cruised to an impressive 3-0 win against Alcester Town in the Les James Challenge Cup quarter-finals last time out.

And Knowle now turn their attention back to their league campaign with the Robins five points clear of Redditch Borough at the top of the Midland Football League Division Two table although the latter side have four games in-hand.

The Solihull club won the reverse fixture against Alvis 3-1 in their final game of 2023 as Coventry finished the game with just eight players.

Alvis sit seventh in the table following back-to-back victories against Bolehall Swifts and Coventrians since their defeat to Knowle at the end of last year.

Knowle’s joint manager Clive Seeley said: “It is another tough match. In fact, I think it will be one of the hardest matches of the season.

“We shall need to be on our mettle. The good news is that George Seeley is back in training, Nathan Corry and Tom Craine are available, plus we have signed Toby Scott’s brother Callum who is very highly regarded.”

Entrance to the ground is £5 for adults and £3 for concessions

Knowle’s clash with Alvis takes place on Saturday, February 10 with kick-off at 3pm at Alvis Sports and Social Club.
