LEAGUE leaders Knowle return to Midland Football League Division Two action this weekend with a trip to Coventrians.
The Robins saw their 16-game unbeaten run come to an end at Hampton in the Saturday Vase last time out as Knowle suffered their first defeat since the opening day of the season.
However, Knowle lead the MFL Division Two table by five points and have three games in-hand on closest challengers Birmingham United.
Opponents Coventrians sit 11th in the table and suffered a heavy 5-1 home defeat against Lane Head in their last outing having secured an impressive 1-0 win at Hampton in their previous match.
Knowle cruised to a 4-0 win at the Draintech Community Ground in the reverse fixture back in August.
The Robins joint manager, Clive Seeley, said: “No one beats Hampton on their own turf without being a competent outfit.”
Knowle’s clash with Coventrians takes place on Saturday, December 16 with kick-off at 2pm at Coventry Colliery Sports Ground.
