FOOTBALL - Knowle host Dudley Town this weekend with entry free

KNOWLE FC continue their pre-season schedule with a friendly against Dudley Town this weekend with admission free.

The Robins have already played matches against Wolverhampton Sports and Dunlop FC as the club ramp up their preparations ahead of the new campaign.

Knowle have seen six players from last season’s squad depart for clubs in a higher division.

And that has seen the club recruit several new faces for the coming season as manager Clive Seeley tries to rebuild his squad.

However, this task has been made harder after serious injuries to Brandon Hague (broken leg) and new signing Callum Burston-Keeley (sprained knee) with both expected to miss several months of the season.

Seeley said: “Things are bedding in really well. Our pre-season is going well, even allowing for those nasty injuries.

“The match with Dudley Town will be a real test for us, and we are all looking forward to it.”

Knowle’s match with Dudley takes place on Saturday, July 16 with kick-off at 2pm at Hampton Road with admission FREE.
