FOOTBALL - Knowle host Bolehall in first home game of season

KNOWLE FC are targeting their first win of the season when they host Bolehall Swifts at The Draintech Stadium this weekend.

The Robins snatched a last gasp point away at Redditch Borough in a 1-1 draw in their season opener last weekend.

And the Solihull club will need to be at their best on home soil after Bolehall claimed an opening day 4-2 win against Earlswood Town in Midland Football League Division Two.

Swifts have a new management team and squad in place this term having struggled at the bottom end of the table in recent seasons.

Knowle boss Clive Seeley said: “Bolehall are much improved from last season and I expect a tough game.”

The Robins welcome back Lewis Cosgrove, Reece Staley and Zak Parsons to the fold to strengthen their squad ahead of their first home game of the campaign.

Entrance is £4 for adults and £2 for concessions.

Knowle’s clash with Bolehall takes place on Saturday, August 13 with kick-off at 3pm at The Draintech Stadium.
