KNOWLE are aiming to secure their first win of the New Year ahead of their home match against AFC Coventry Rangers this weekend.

The Robins came from behind to draw 1-1 with Solihull rivals Earlswood Town in their last outing as Tom Craine had a late penalty saved.

Despite the draw, Knowle lead the Midland Football League Division Two table by nine points with Rangers down in fourth place, 15 points behind the Robins with six games in-hand.

Knowle have signed Hayden Perves from Studley to bolster their squad prior to the fixture with the player set to go straight into the matchday squad.

Coventry have won nine of their 12 league matches this season and have triumphed in their last three MFL Division Two games scoring four goals in each of their last three league fixtures.

The clubhouse at the Draintech Community Ground will be open all afternoon for hot and cold drinks, alcoholic and soft drinks and snacks.

Entry is £4 for adults and £2 for concessions.

Knowle’s clash with Coventry takes place on Saturday, January 13 with kick-off at 2pm at the Draintech Community Ground.
